After a lot of research into the type of dog that would suit our needs we came across the Australian Labradoodle which was a breed we hadn’t heard of before. I have had 4 dogs previously and Andrew came into my last dogs life when he was a senior dog aged 10 yrs so was a very chilled out old boy that was very easy.
We found a few breeders but Rachel’s website was very informative  and we were really sold as to the amount of work Rachel  puts into them. With the first video of puppy training being posted within the first  week .
The weekly up dates and videos we received were so impressive. Alongside the information on what to prepare for, diet information, recommendations of online puppy training classes to where to find certain items you may require but hadn’t thought of.
The fact that she chooses the pup to suit the owned was new to me but she really did know best and we trusted her judgement.
By the time the pups were ready for their  forever homes she has them crate trained which is a good start for them.
We are now the proud puppy parents of our beloved Ozzie who is so incredibly calm and keen to learn and we feel extremely lucky to have him.
We can’t recommend Rachel highly enough

I cannot recomend Derbyshire doodles enough, and Rachel the breeder100%.The pups are born into an amazing family environment, lots of interaction with the children. The training Rachel gives her pups is amazing, she is also very good in choosing the new owners to the most suitable puppy. I received a very useful manual, links to providers of food, training etc.and Rachel herself has recorded and sent amazing and very useful information, always there at the end of the phone. If you're looking for a loveable, intelligent, gorgeous pup to join your family,  look no further than Derbyshire Doodles.
We were very impressed right from the start, the information and contact that Rachel gave us was fabulous.
We were looking for guidance as we had not owned a dog before, and we couldn't have been happier.
Rachel gives loads of information throughout the pregnancy and the first weeks, until your puppy is ready to go home with.  The love, care and training she gives the pups is great as well as ongoing support.

We had such a positive experience buying our puppy from Rachel. She is obviously a very experienced and caring breeder and her female dogs are lovely. We were kept up to date w puppy development and there was so much insight into training and pre puppy preparation. Our chocolate boy was a perfect match for our family, he’s absolutely gorgeous. We were made very welcome when we visited to see the puppies when they were six weeks old and again when we picked up our puppy at eight weeks. If you are looking for a breeder who is passionate about her pups and mums, who goes above and beyond to make sure the pups are happy, healthy and come as prepared as they possibly can to settle into your family, pups that are raised in a loving family environment, a breeder that knows her stuff and lives it (and loves it) then you have found the right one. Rachel is so knowledgable and confident in her pups and the breed. She is always there every step of the way to help and guide and give great advice. We are a first time fur baby family and wanted our pup to eventually become a therapy dog for our disabled girls. Rachel carefully selected us for the puppy after temperament testing and seeing the pups personality. We are so hopeful that this will be the outcome and even though it is early days, our puppy is quick and keen to learn, all of which is because of the great start she had at Derbyshire doodles.
I would 100% recommend Rachel and all her wonderful family at Derbyshire Doodles.

I can honestly not recommend Rachel Isherwood of Derbyshire Doodles enough. If you are looking for an absolute passionate breeder with love, & not only the best interests of the puppies, but the best interests of the family the puppies are going to, then look no further. Rachel puts her heart & sole into bringing these gorgeous puppies into the world & in turn making the perfect pet for us. We not only went to Rachel once, but twice, & would honestly not go anywhere else. We have had our Nellie from Derbyshire Doodles for a week now and would recommend anyone wanting an Australian Labradoodle should get in touch with Rachel. From her girl being pregnant to picking her up we had so much information and photos and kept up to date with everything. Rachel and family put so much work in with the pups its unbelievable. We have a confident friendly pup of 9 weeks who sleeps all night and toilet trained and sits when you tell her to. Thanks again to Rachel and her family for our wonderful girl. Took Nellie to her 1st puppy training and the trainer said what a lovely well rounded puppy we have. She asked questions  concerning training, toilet training interactions. I said she has done it all but i cannot take credit it was all down to Rachel and family she was really impressed and said she will recommend Derbyshire Doodles to anyone wanting a doodle. We brought home our lovely Derbyshire Doodle a few weeks ago, and we could not be happier that we bought from Rachel.

Our lovely girl came home already with some basics of socialisation, toilet and crate training.  This has made a huge difference transitioning to our home and honestly has made our lives SO much easier, and hers as she settled in.

We are three weeks in and really enjoying our new pup, she is progressing in all training areas and I honestly this was because of the groundwork that was laid at the breeders (by Rachel @ Derbyshire Doodles).

The aftercare too we are having is fab, Rachel helps with questions and tips.

I trusted Rachel throughout this process, including the selection of which pup would best suit our family, and it was trust well placed.  From the beginning I knew that Rachel's priority was dog first, this is so important from a breeder and meant a lot to us,  its also why we chose Derbyshire Doodles. We researched a lot of breeders online and although Derbyshire Doodles was a long way from home we kept going back to her website. The reassurance of the puppies having the start of toilet training, car journeys, crate sleeping was a big influence in our decision making. Rachel was a pleasure to deal with and is still available to talk to now. She is really invested in breeding beautiful dogs and we now need to continue the good start she has created. Our whole experience with Derbyshire Doodles was 100% positive, from initial enquiry to collecting our puppy and the support that continues.
Communication from the breeder, Rachel, has been frequent and informative throughout the process. Friends with dogs were amazed at how much interaction we had, nothing like their experiences. Same with the daily information and videos on training and milestones that came after the pups were born, again, so much more than any friends had from their breeders.
Our pup has been with us now for 9 days, he settled so well, picks up training quickly and has had hardly any toilet accidents. This is all down to Rachel’s hard work and expertise in the initial 8 weeks and her detailed guidance for our ongoing life with our puppy. Can’t recommend Derbyshire Doodles enough.
